    This course will provide you with fitting instructions of ALLUX, Nabtesco’s latest microprocessor controlled prosthetic knee joint (MPK).
    ALLUX is the world’s first MPK. Which controls both swing and stance phase combined with a polycentric 4-bar design.
    This 4-Bar MPK, ALLUX, was developed under a “Dual Safety” concept.
    That is, the knee joint is inherent safety using a polycentric design and an algorithmic safety using the microprocessor. These both safety concepts realize greater toe clearance and stumbling recovery function to reduce the risk of fallen.
    The 4-bar geometry makes it especially good for long trans-femoral amputees/knee disarticulation patients and the long battery life allows for extended use between charge cycles.
    Upon completion of this course, you will have a greater knowledge of indications for use of 4-bar MPK ALLUX. And more understand how its many features can benefit amputees of many levels.
