    Registration Fees

    Online registration opens in February 2019.

    To make participation affordable for individuals from all regions worldwide, registration fees are based on the income groups assigned to the world's economies by the World Bank. The fees are determined by the country in which you are employed.

    To confirm which income group has been assigned to the country in which you work, please download the following list.

    The table below outlines the early bird and regular registration fees by income group in Japanese Yen (JPY). Early Bird rates are available until 5 August, regular rates apply as of 6 August 2019.

    Full congress registration

    Member rates are available to those who are members of ISPO, JAPO, JOPA or JSPO. Your membership will be verified after you have completed your registration.

    Student rates are available to undergraduate students enrolled full time at an educational institution. The rate is not available to post-doctorate students, research fellows and lecturers. Proof, consisting of a copy of your identification (ID) card or a letter from the institution's registrar confirming your student status, is required to confirm this rate.

    Full congress registration includes:

    • Access to the Opening Ceremony, held on Saturday, 5th October and the Closing Ceremony, held on Tuesday, 8th October
    • Access to all sessions, such as keynote lectures, symposia, instructional courses, free paper sessions and exhibitor workshops
    • Access to the exhibition halls and posters area during opening hours
    • Access to the Welcome Reception, held on Saturday, 5th October in the exhibition halls
    • Official congress badge and bag with congress programme materials

    Limited congress and exhibition only registration

    One day congress rates are available to members and non-members that would like to participate for one day only. Registrants have access to all sessions and the exhibition halls on the day they have registered for.

    Accompanying person rates are available to those who accompany a full congress registrant. They are admitted to the Opening Ceremony as well as the Welcome Reception and are welcome to visit the exhibition halls during opening hours. Accompanying persons are not admitted to the scientific sessions.

    Exhibition day pass holders have access to the exhibition halls and are welcome to attend exhibitor workshops. They are not admitted to the scientific sessions. Exhibition day passes are not valid during the Welcome Reception, held on Saturday, 5th October in the exhibition halls.

    Congress Party tickets

    Congress Party will be held on Sunday, 6th October and tickets can be purchased during online registration at JPY 8,000 per ticket.
