Stand Taller, Walk StrongerTM – Agilik a New Smart Orthosis.

Introducing the Agilik, a new smart orthosis to help patients increase, retain or regain their independance and mobility. This microprocessor power knee for use in KAFOs is focused on the treatment of adults with conditions such as CVA, TBI, Polio and MS, and is particularly advantageous for children with cerebral palsy, spina bifida and other knee-extension-deficiency disorders. This technology is designed  to stop, or even reverse, deterioration specifically by reducing crouch gait, increasing extension and strengthening legs, as well as aiming to assist patients where weakness has lead to a reduction in mobility and independance,  enabling the users to Stand Taller, Walk Stronger.During this workshop we will cover how Agilik works, and who could benefit from it and the outcomes you would expect to see, including two case studies showing the Agilik in action. We will demonstrate how the device can function as an everyday orthosis and a rehabilitation tool. Please come to the Thuasne booth after the workshop to experience Agilik for yourself.
